WAN-IFRA India 2012

The city of Pune which was recently rated as the second best city in India to live in will play the host to this year’s WAN-IFRA India Conference for the first time.

WAN-IFRA India 2012, the twentieth annual conference of WAN-IFRA South Asia will be held on September 26-27 at Pune Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre.

The conference will have three parallel tracks.

a) Newsroom Summit

b) Printing Summit and

c) Cross-media Advertising Summit

The programme will discuss the business and technology challenges and provide a direction into the future of the news publishing industry in the region. The conference draws much significance in the backdrop of the digital media revolution facing the South Asian news publishing industry in one hand and the challenge of managing the growth of print media business on the other hand.

Pre-Conference workshops:

The conference will be preceded by 3 pre-conference workshops on the following topics:

a) Multimedia advertising sales

b) Online video production

c) Green publishing

Info Tables: The event will offer a limited number of info-tables and a variety of sponsorship opportunities to the suppliers industry.

More than 400 delegates are expected to attend the event.
