Shyam Parekh is Editor of the Ahmedabad edition of DNA. He oversaw the launch of the paper in November 2007: it was the first expansion of the full paper outside Mumbai. Prior to that he launched DNA Money editions in Indore and Ahmedabad, and as Senior Editor at DNA’s flagship edition in Mumbai.

Before joining DNA he worked for The Times of India, The Indian Post, Sandesh and Divya Bhaskar. He has also anchored several news discussion programmes on Doordarshan (television network) and All India Radio.

Shyam was a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Communications at the MS University of Baroda between 2001 and 2005.
