Paula Salovaara is Managing Editor of Helsingin Sanomat, responsible for the digital development.

Paula has worked 26 years as a journalist, focusing on news, fast publishing and broadcasting. She has worked as a radio news reporter, producer, Editor in Chief for a radio station, Editor for Helsingin Sanomat online edition, and works now as the Managing editor. Newsroom intregration is one of the core tasks of the current job.

Paula has studied journalism at the University of Helsinki, worked for both commercial and state owned radio, founded her own radio station and production company and worked for the past three years developing and running the online edition HS.fi.
